How Hybrid Digital Testing Works
Per College Board's hybrid digital overview:
- Section I: Complete all MCQs in Bluebook (same tools: highlight, eliminate, mark-for-review)
- Section II transition: Proctor distributes personalized FRQ booklets with your AP ID label
- Section II: Read FRQ prompts in Bluebook; write all scored work in the booklet
- Submission: MCQ auto-submits; proctor collects booklets for mailing to AP scoring

What's on the FRQ Booklet Cover
Every hybrid subject's booklet front cover includes:
- Student identification fields (completed before testing begins)
- Number of FRQ questions to answer in the booklet
- Section II duration
- Pen/pencil permission (varies slightly by subject)
